The Pen-y-ffordd Place Plan is a plan which sets out how the residents of the Pen-y-ffordd Ward would like change to happen between now and 2030 (including Pen-y-ffordd village, Penymynydd, Dobshill, Lower Mountain Road, Bannel and all the outlying areas of the Ward).

Change will involve new housing, but also potential new business, changes to roads, footpaths, community buildings and other things that affect residents lives. The plan contents instruct organisations and authorities about the wishes of the village and it also guides the Community and Flintshire councils about what change the community would like to see.

You can download the full plan here:

We held two public events at the beginning of June:

Friday 2nd June - Half Term Parent Workshop - Village Plan Drop in (Memorial Institute 10:00am - 12:00pm)

Monday 5th Jun - Public Meeting - Presentation with Q&A (British Legion 7:00pm - 9:00pm)

We need to get the plan adopted by Flintshire County Council so that the aims included in it are viewed as a 'material consideration' when considering planning or other matters that impact the village in the future. To do that, we need as many residents to sign up to the plan as possible. Please add you name to the petition now...

I WOULD LIKE TO ADD MY NAME TO THE PETITION FOR FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TO ADOPT THE PENYFFORDD PLACE PLAN:

These are some of the highlights of what the village MIGHT look like in 2030.
